Imports & Cleanup
Highrise imports
Import Highrise data and preserve source evidence before assigning work.
For admins.
When to use this
Use this when bringing Highrise contact or company data into Klienta for review, promotion, and assignment.
Klienta treats source rows as evidence. Highrise IDs and allocation labels help review imported data, but they are not employee assignments by themselves.
Before you start
- Export the Highrise file in a supported spreadsheet format.
- Confirm who should review imported contacts after promotion.
- Decide whether you are importing contacts, companies, or both.
Steps
- Open Contacts, then Imports.
- Upload the Highrise export.
- Review import validation and promoted record counts.
- Inspect curation issues before bulk assignment.
- Promote eligible records when the import looks correct.
- Move to Allocation Cleanup to assign promoted contacts intentionally.
What happens next
Promoted imported contacts and companies become Klienta records. Imported Allocation Hints remain available for filtering and cleanup, but they do not automatically assign contacts to employees.
Troubleshooting
- Unsupported file errors mean the export format is not accepted.
- Missing companies may require reviewing source company names.
- Conflicting contact-company links should be curated explicitly instead of silently overwritten.
